Re: A vain, animal need for "life after death"
Date: Wednesday 5 January 05

Contrary to accepted wisdom, I suggest that far from being our spiritual nature, it is in fact our animal nature, unable to accept its own mortality, that is vainly concerned with "life after death".

Our truly spiritual, more enlightened, human nature is more concerned for the life of our children and coming generations on a planet that our animal nature and its obsession with material wealth and power is busy plundering and spoiling for them.
