In
response to article by Matthew Moore on creating a new Union (British) flag (posted but didn't get passed the censors, which is why I'm publishing it here) Link to article and thread which follows it at the Telegraph It is time we consigned Britain (and its flag)
to the history books. One might just as well identify with the entire human
species as with the multi-racial/multicultural melting pot of modern Britain!
To hell with Britain, and all nation states -
I'm a native European! Which, in contrast to "Britain", I can relate to and
identify with, ethnically, culturally and historically.
The power structures of the nation state were
created with the primary purpose of exploiting (to the advantage of those in
positions of power and influence) the socio-economic environment they embraced -
a natural and logical consequence of Darwin's theory of human origins and
evolution, for anyone who dares take up the challenge of breaking such a
powerful taboo . . .
All this concern about shared national identity
and interests is just so much, largely opportunistic, nonsense.
Although, at the moment we still depend on the
nation state we call Britain, it is time we started, peacefully and
grassroots-democratically, to self-organize alternatives (a multitude thereof,
so that everyone if free to choose the kind of society they wish to live and
participate in), rather than remain dependent on a national government that does
everything for us. The technological means are now available . . . .
